From the Principal

To adequately express gratitude for all the good that come to our parish school and its members this year is quite difficult to express. This is the time of year when I wish I possessed the eloquence of a poet to say thank you for the million big and little kindnesses that have blessed us. For one act of kindness or for a hundred, God bless you for helping our parish school faith community. Be assured that you are in my daily prayers as I thank the Lord for the angels who have come in the guise of moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, big brother and sisters, parishioners, even neighbors. My hear is touched by your generosity of time, talent and treasure.

As good stewards, please remember to give thanks and praise to God on a weekly basis at Mass. We never take a vacation from God because God's generosity never stops blessing our lives. Even if you're on vacation, there are Catholic churches to be found in every nook and cranny throughout our country.

While we just ended the academic year, I ask you to help keep your child(ren)'s reading and math skills sharp over summer. Reading and math are key subjects for success in school and in life. Check out our teachers' pages for web sites that are fun and educational.

As you prepare for next year, please adhere to the supply lists that were distributed to the students. Items brought to school that are not on the lists will be sent home.

Our school uniform gives our students a sense of identity and equality. To maintain those purposes, there has been a change in the requirements for athletic shoes for the students. Please note: athletic shoes must be all white or all black for the 2012 - 2013 school year. The current variety of athletic shoes is causing some competition among the students. This just isn't acceptable for our parish school.

Please get those physicals, dentals and eye checks done over the summer. You received those forms earlier this year so students do not need to be taken out of classes.
