The Music Ministry at O.L.O.R. is diverse and provides music for parish liturgies and special concerts throughout the year. There are several parish musical groups that serve the faith experience in different settings and combinations. Getting involved in music is a great way to meet new people while praising God in the most special of ways. Music deepens and enriches the emotion and faith of worship. We would love to have you join us.
The Adult Choir is open to all singers from high school age and beyond. Prior musical experience is not necessary. Last year, there were 50 adults of all ages and backgrounds in our choir. The Adult Choir is a fantastic, spirit-filled group of people worth getting to know. In addition to the enrichment that music provides, we also gather on a social basis throughout our season so that members of the choir get to know each other. We meet every Wednesday night in church from 7:30-9:30 and sing for various Masses and concerts throughout the year.
The Folk Group is comprised of experienced singers and musicians that provide enrichment to various worship events. They regularly serve at the 11:30 Sunday mass.
